Terms of Service

Product Description

Shop Monitor is a software-as-a-service product for monitoring selected Shopify competitor stores. It helps users track public storefront activity, including new product launches, product updates, price changes, and store activity trends. Shop Monitor is software only. We are not a marketplace, reseller, agency, managed operations service, or seller of third-party goods.

User Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate account and billing information and promptly update it when it changes.

Subscriptions and Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly unless otherwise stated at checkout. The plan page describes each plan's price, monitored store limits, export limits, and included monitoring features. Billing may be processed by Creem or another payment provider.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription by using the billing management option in the app when available or by contacting [email protected]. Unless otherwise stated, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Refund Policy Reference

Refunds and cancellations are handled under our Refund Policy / Cancellation Policy. Refund requests can be sent to support and are reviewed case by case.

Acceptable Use

You may use Shop Monitor only for lawful business research, competitive analysis, product monitoring, and related ecommerce operations. You must comply with applicable laws and third-party rights.

Prohibited Use

• Illegal, fraudulent, harmful, or abusive activity.
• Attempts to attack, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or compromise Shop Monitor.
• Attempts to access protected, private, paywalled, or unauthorized third-party data.
• Use that infringes intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other third-party rights.
• Reselling, sublicensing, or using the service to build a competing service without permission.
• Using the service to evade security controls, rate limits, robots policies, or access restrictions.

Intellectual Property

Shop Monitor, including its software, design, branding, and documentation, is owned by Shop Monitor or its licensors. You retain rights to information you provide, such as monitored store URLs, subject to the license needed for us to operate the service.

Shop Monitor is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Shopify. Shopify is a trademark of its respective owner.

Disclaimer

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that monitoring results will be complete, uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every business decision.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Shop Monitor will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or lost-profit damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.
